The Real Me

I have a confession: I'm an introvert. Many people would be surprised by this since I am a worship leader and I hold a leadership position at work. I’m also a mother to 5 children. But having a lot of people know who you are is different than being KNOWN by people. That difference is one that I am usually hesitant to dive into. It takes awhile for me to allow myself to be known by people.

Almost 11 years ago, God brought two different women into my life and our relationship has ebbed and flowed and grown to a deep place, where time and distance cannot change the bonds and love we have for each other. We are unwavering in our support for each other, unflinching in our honesty towards each other, and unconditional in our deep love for one another. They know ME, the real me, the vulnerable, insecure, sassy and passionate me. And I am safe with them. God, in His infinite wisdom, placed these two in my life. He knew I needed them. And they need me. And Jesus is the center of it all. And that is a beautiful thing!
