A Christmas Memory

This GAMG story is a family Christmas memory submitted by my mom about me and two of my siblings! Thanks for the memory, Mom :-)

A CHRISTMAS MEMORY.

One year, my daughter Teressa and my son Russell each made a Christmas present for me by etching a star and a Christmas tree onto a piece of wood. Lisa was about 3 years old and was not to be outdone by her sister and brother. So, she scribbled on a piece of paper and wrapped it around a block of wood with a rubber band! I kept them on the mantle at Christmastime for many years. Now, a nativity given to me by Teressa, and a Christmas town Lisa bought me after getting her first job are the holiday mantle decorations. I love these gifts too, but the best gift ever is remembering the year when 3 of my children made those 3 blocks of wood!
