A Special Connection

So this is my dear friend Laura.

It’s crazy how we met. Her husband and my husband are high school best friends. Back when she and Cameron were dating we had not yet met her… she was living in New York. A picture of our daughter was going to be on the Verizon screen at Time Squares for World Down Syndrome Day and we couldn’t be there. So I messaged her, introduced myself, and asked her to go downtown for us and take a picture of it when her picture came up.  Being the person she is, she went and did it for us!

Since then, she and I have grown very close. We have the exact same personality (literally, we have the same enneagram personality)!  We’re both moms, we both love Christmas Hallmark movies and we’re Bieliebers. Our birthdays are 3 days apart, and we just have a very genuine special connection!
