Anna Kate and I met in middle school when we were preteen babies and at the prime of our awkward stages! I remember feeling so alone in school as I didn’t know a lot of people and often felt left out on our school’s volleyball team. Anna Kate had broken a bone in her arm at one of our games, and though she couldn’t play, it didn’t stop her from making sure I always felt included as she asked me to run drills with her, even passing me the ball with her one hand! Throughout the years Anna Kate and I have grown through high school, Christ, and the ups and downs of life. This girl has become my sister and I don’t know what I would do without her!! What a blessing it is to have a God-given girlfriend like her in my life!
