"Symphony" in a SILO!

My husband and I recently built a grain silo on our property. Prior to finishing out the interior, I gathered with some of my Brave Worship friends inside to sing a live acapella version of “Symphony to the Lord,” track #6 from my new HEARTSONG OF SCOTLAND EP. The video above is a recording of that performance. It truly felt like there were angels singing with us in the silo!

I wrote this song with Amanda Blankenship and Lara Landon in the chapel of Carberry Tower Estate in Musselburgh, Scotland. While writing it, we abandoned the church organ because it just felt like the “instruments” of this song should be the voices. (The album recording has very little instruments for this reason).

From a Scotland castle to a Nashville silo…this SYMPHONY TO THE LORD has already covered some ground!
