God Brought More
God and My Girlfriends #GAMGstory share by: Tamera Gardner
In May of 2014, after ten years of chronic illness I knew something had to change. I was done whining and taking. If I was going to survive and stop distressing the people who cared about me, I was going to have to learn to live giving out something. One of the things I did was decide to go all-in with a couple of Christian women I’d recently met. Meaning, I was going to be a good, receptive, giving, unselfish, non-judgemental, supportive, honest friend if God would help me- a LOT. These friendships flourished and I began looking for other women who needed good friends and God brought more. There are about 8 in our core group now and these ladies and their friendships have been priceless to me. I’ve never allowed God to help me be so vulnerable before. Tiffs? Sure. We’ve had a couple, but God has been faithful to teach us more about Him during those times. God is so very good when we allow Him to be. I will cherish these friendships forever.
