I had the blessing of meeting the one and only Devon O'Day in 1999. I had just moved to Nashville and we were introduced to each other by Jo McFadden for a co-writing session. 21 years later, Devon is my sweet sister in the Lord and friend. My husband and I had the beautiful opportunity to write a song with her called "Let Em See Your Strong" (not a typo — the word Strong is used as a noun in our song).  This picture was taken at the Bluebird Cafe the night we performed it for the first time live.

"Let em see your strong. Let em see your burn. Let em see your light!"
