God is My CEO

I was not born to sell essential oils, but I have a successful essential oils business. My “secret sauce” isn’t a compilation of best practices from business gurus or network marketing experts…

My secret sauce is actually a really simple truth: God is my CEO. He’s the Chief Executive Officer, and my “Creative Entrepreneur Overseer.”


Here are some synonyms for what an overseer does:

• supervisor

• foreman

• team leader

• controller

• head of department

• captain


That’s God in my business! I’m now over five years into intentionally making God the CEO of my oil business, and the ways He is growing both my business and me continues to amaze me. He has been expanding me far beyond my own logic, strategies and even my capabilities!

God is not only the CEO of how I navigate and “do” my oil business, He is what I consider to be “The Master Magnate.” I believe that, no matter what line of business you’re in, if you put God in the driver’s seat, He will multiply your “talents.”*


And with The Master Magnate in charge of ordering your steps, you'll become a MAGnet for success! ("For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11)

Here’s how I started.

It began with a simple prayer, after I was introduced to trying and learning about pure therapeutic-grade essential oils. The daily prayer I prayed was: “Lord, show me who I can help heal.” The more I prayed that prayer, the more people He brought into my path. As my business started growing, I set my heart’s intention on doing my business His way, all the way. As I did so, He revealed more layers to me. I added this to my daily prayers: “Lord, be Thou my vision, and order my steps.”

One day a few years ago, I decided to put my heart’s intention onto a vision board. You can read about how I created my “Kingdom Vision Board” here, but two key elements about my heart’s intention for my oil business emerged onto that vision board:

  1. I want to be a Kingdom builder. I want my “team building” to point people to God, the One who created the oils in the plants, before they were ever in the bottles!

  2. I want to create a ripple effect for God’s Kingdom. The most important impact I can have, in business or otherwise, is an eternal impact!

As I’ve prayerfully pursued that intention, eventually this “org chart” The Master Magnate, featuring God as my CEO, literally came to life. This illustration is a visual representation of the actions I took and the results I had.

Though God used me to create it, all credit and glory goes to HIM!
